Eminent Domain, the legal term, hit Eminent Domaine owner Jeff Meader hard. The laws of eminent domain were used to take his property. Eminent domain laws inspired the birth of Eminent Domaine Winery.

Located in McMinnville Oregon, Eminent Domaine is devoted to producing wines focused on rich character from selected vineyard sites including our own in Newberg on Ribbon Ridge. With our eyes on the future we've dedicated ourselves and our resourses to building a legacy that's synonymous with high quality.

Our single vineyard wines are of limited production and typically of a single clone of Pinot Noir. We selectively reduce the yield per acre to assure only mature fruit is harvested. It's with this selection that we've been able to allow an individual site to show its unique complexity without sacrificing balance and depth.

Our family is fortunate to be a part of the Oregon wine industry and we take pride in perpetuating its reputation of uncompromising quality and being a good steward of the land.
